Bethany Home's first seminar

For those of you who got our last newsletter, you would have heard that I have been wanting to plan a program to teach pregnant teenagers and young single mothers how to take care of their pregnancy, children, health and equip them with different business skills to enable them to work from home. We have finally chosen a date and name for this program and are currently promoting it and confirming speakers! It will be called the Family for Life Seminar and will go for 3 days (1-3 May) during the Thai school holidays. The girls will also have an opportunity to come on 4th May to receive counselling and more tips.

We are still in need of a translator, someone to teach on computer skills and a nurse to teach First Aid focused on infants and common childhood injuries. Our team will be handing out brochures at shopping centres, hospitals and pregnancy clinics during the Songkran Water Festival later this week and early next week. Please keep us in your prayers! We are hoping for a small group for this seminar, around 5-20 people to come and participate.
